Estimates, pricing, deposits, what we need from you, and how your belongings are covered.
These Terms of Service govern your use of oasis-moving.com and the moving services provided by Oasis Express Logistics LLC ("Oasis Express", "we", "us"). Please read section 3 on estimates and section 8 on liability in particular — those are the two that most often surprise people.
By using this website, requesting an estimate, or booking a move with us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or book a move.
These terms cover the website and the general relationship. Your individual move is governed by the written estimate, contract and bill of lading you sign before work begins. Where that signed paperwork says something different from this page, the signed paperwork wins.
Oasis Express Logistics LLC is a moving company based in Miami, Florida. We provide local and long-distance moving, residential and commercial relocation, packing and unpacking, move-in and move-out cleaning, and handyman services. We operate a fleet of 16 ft to 26 ft box trucks, with CDL-class capability when a move requires it. We are open seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET.
The calculator on this website gives you a genuine, good-faith projection based on what you tell it — crew size, number of trucks, expected hours, heavy items and the extras you select. It is a useful planning number and we have built it to be honest rather than flattering.
It is not a fixed price and it is not a binding quote. Your final charge depends on how long the work actually takes and on conditions we cannot see from a web form: how much there really is, stairs and elevator access, how far the truck can park from the door, whether packing was finished before we arrived, and traffic between addresses.
Some moves are reviewed by a person before we will commit to a number at all — long-distance routes, moves needing large crews, unusually large inventories, and anything with specialty items. For those we will contact you with a quote built around your actual route and inventory rather than guessing.
A price becomes binding only when it appears on the written estimate you sign before we start.
Local moves are billed by the hour. The clock covers loading, driving between addresses, and unloading. Current rates:

Rates can change over time. The rates that apply to you are the ones on your signed estimate, not the ones on this page on the day you happen to read it.
A move is reserved with a $50 deposit, which is applied to your final total — it is not an extra charge. You may also pay in full online if you prefer.
Cancellation and rescheduling: [SPECIFY YOUR POLICY: how much notice is required to cancel or reschedule, whether the $50 deposit is refundable, and any fee for late cancellation or a same-day no-access situation. Do not publish this page until this is filled in — an unclear cancellation policy is unenforceable and causes disputes.]
We may need to reschedule for reasons outside anyone's control — severe weather, a named storm, a road closure, a vehicle breakdown or a crew emergency. If that happens we will tell you as early as we can and move you to the next available slot. If we cancel and cannot reschedule to your satisfaction, your deposit is refunded in full.
A move runs well when the ground is prepared. You agree to:
For safety and legal reasons our crews cannot transport:
We also strongly recommend you carry these yourself rather than putting them on the truck: cash, jewellery, precious metals, medication, passports and identity documents, deeds, keys, laptops, and irreplaceable items of personal or sentimental value. Items of extraordinary value must be declared in writing before loading; undeclared items are handled at the standard liability described below.
Our crews pad-wrap furniture, shrink-wrap upholstery, and protect floors and doorways on every move at no extra charge. Even so, moving carries risk, and it matters that you understand what is covered before the truck is loaded.
Interstate household goods moves are regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Federal rules require us to offer you a choice of liability, and the level you choose is recorded on your bill of lading:
Before an interstate move we will give you the FMCSA booklet Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move, which explains both options in full.
Intrastate household moves are governed by Chapter 507 of the Florida Statutes, which requires a written estimate and contract, clear disclosure of charges, and registration of the mover with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The valuation applying to your move is stated on your contract. [STATE YOUR STANDARD INTRASTATE LIABILITY AND ANY PAID UPGRADE]
If something is lost or damaged, tell your crew lead before they leave if you can, and contact the office the same day. Note it on the inventory or delivery paperwork at the time — that record matters more than anything else later.
Claims must be submitted in writing with a description of the item, its value, and photographs where possible. For interstate moves you have at least nine months from delivery to file a written claim, and we will acknowledge it within 30 days and resolve it within 120 days as federal rules require. [STATE YOUR CLAIM WINDOW FOR LOCAL / INTRASTATE MOVES]
Please do not repair or discard a damaged item before we have had a chance to inspect it.
Payment is due on completion, before the crew leaves the delivery address, unless your written estimate says otherwise. We accept the methods listed on your estimate. Online deposits and payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go to Stripe directly and are never held by us. Where a balance remains unpaid, we may charge reasonable costs of collection permitted by law.
These are billed at the rates quoted on your estimate. Packing materials we supply are charged as listed. Cleaning is a standard move-in / move-out clean unless you have agreed something more with us in writing; it is not a guarantee that a landlord or association will return a deposit. Handyman work covers setup and small repairs and does not include licensed electrical, plumbing or structural work.
Discounts and offers advertised on this site — the veteran and senior discount, the referral credit, and any gift card promotion — apply to completed, paid moves and cannot be combined unless we say so. Referral credits are issued after the referred person's move is completed and paid; self-referrals are not eligible. We may change or withdraw a promotion at any time, but not for a move already booked under it.
The text, design, photographs and code on this site belong to Oasis Express Logistics LLC. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not copy the site or its content for a competing business, scrape it in bulk, or attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
The moving guides on this site are general information written from our crews' experience, not professional advice about your particular situation. We keep them accurate but cannot promise the site will always be available or free of error.
Reviews shown on this site reflect the experience of the individual who wrote them. Every move is different, and another customer's experience is not a promise of what yours will be.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here reduces the protections given to you as a moving customer by federal law or by Chapter 507 of the Florida Statutes.
Beyond that: our liability for loss of or damage to your goods is as set out in section 8 and in your signed contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost income, missed closings, a hotel night, or a rescheduled lease — arising from a delay or from a move that takes longer than estimated.
You agree to cover us against claims and costs arising from information you gave us that was materially inaccurate, from goods you asked us to move that should not have been on the truck under section 7, or from your failure to obtain access or permission your building required.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction.
Before filing anything, please call us. Almost every dispute we have ever had was resolved in one phone call, and we would rather fix the problem than argue about it.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. These terms, together with your signed estimate, contract and bill of lading, are the entire agreement between us about your move.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your move is the one published when you booked it. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
